Using 10.6, I've just set up a VPN and it seems Mac prompts me to enter my password every time I access it. I am using 'default' for the configuration. The password is stored in "authentication settings" but then when I hit "connect," I get prompted to enter my login ID and password again.

Not a problem in itself if I could get it log and store my ID/pass at this second prompt. What's worse, I can not even copy and paste text into this 2nd/final access prompt, making it very frustrating to have manually enter a complex password every time I want to use my VPN.

Any ideas how I can have the login ID/password stored? Or otherwise avoid having to manually type it in each time?

Thanks.

Try re-typing your password into the Authentication Settings Panel.
You may have typed it in wrong so it's asking for the password again.
