does anyone know if there is a simple way to store your itunes library on something other than your hard drive so that when you plug in ipod and open itunes it can still recognize your music quickly...i dont want my 10 gig collection bogging down my mac...but still want ipod and itunes to be able to access music quickly...thanks:apple::apple:

yeah, you can move the iTunes library folder to an external drive then tell iTunes to look for the library folder in the new location. it's somewhere in the preferences... if you need more specific directions just let me know.
