Can I store some pictures on my External HD that I use for Time machine Backups? It is not partitioned and at the moment all I have on that HD is my backups. I know they would already be on the HD if they are on my computer, I just don't know how I go about pulling one folder of pics off the time machine. I hope this makes sense.

Thank you. I did just figure out how to restore a picture or file from the time machine. Find it in the past and hit restore. To be honest I was afraid to hit restore because I didn't know what it would do. I just read the tutorial on TM.

Yea. Just copy the folder to your external. I have my music and pics on separate folder in my external as well so I can access them more easily
