Read this post before making an Apple purchase from Stormfront, especially the Lincoln branch. I purchased a series 4 watch from them 2 years ago with a 3 year warranty. Warranty……they don’t know the meaning of the word. Recently the ECG facility failed to operate. I am keen due to my advancing years on keeping an eye on my health, hence purchasing an Apple Watch. Anyway, I called in to the branch it was purchased from and it was booked in for repair. I received a message a few days later telling me that they could not fix it, but that I needed to contact Apple support direct. I did this by phone and was put through to a chap in Texas. He took some information from me but said to go any further, I needed to have the watch in my possession. I went back to the store and collected my watch and was contacted by the guy in Texas the following Wednesday. Again we went over the set up of the watch to ascertain if it was a software issue so he could rectify it for me. He could not help with this and advised me to return it to the store where it was purchased and request a replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I put this in writing to Stormfront customer service (haha, don’t make me laugh, customer service). I received an email back telling me to return the watch to the shop as there was another method they could try to sort this out. At this point I should point out they were blaming Apple’s online global repair system. I took the watch back and again requested a replacement as it could not be fixed, under the Consumer Rights Act. The member of staff, Steven told me they didn’t have one to give me. I asked him if a customer came in and asked for the same model they didn’t have one. “Oh yes we have one to sell, we could sell you one, we just haven’t got one to exchange for you”. After a lengthy conversation it was clearly going nowhere and he said to me, “I’ve got other customers to serve now if you don’t mind”. I did mind actually. However, I left it there and walked away with my still faulty watch. The moral of this story readers is go direct to a proper Apple Store, not these unhelpful people.

Try KRCS - never had an issue with them in either retail or service (they’re Apple authorised for both) and seem to have been going for a very long time. I saved some money with them even on brand new Macs and my iPhone 13 Pro even. My Series 7 is coming from them too, launch-day delivery with DPD I think they said online.
