Straight Talk on iPad?

I am currently a Straight Talk user with an unlocked iPhone 3GS and the phone and plan works great.

I am wondering, however, if it is possible to for a GSM based iPad to work on Straight Talk. Based on my research so far, I have found that yes it does work. But the real question is, how can I get my iPhone "and" an iPad to both work on Straight Talk using the "same" plan? Can the Straight Talk SIM card in my iPhone be copied somehow and the duplicate SIM card inserted into the iPad? Or could I at least get my iPhone to tether data service over to an iPad?

I think it's a huge no-no to have a sim card duplicated and in 2 devices. I think if you want the same number you are going to have to go with some kind of VOIP service. Google Voice paired with Talkatone works quite awesomely on my ipad, and allows me to use my Google Voice number on any device that you can get GV on.

If you are in a very good data area you can probably survive on VOIP data only, otherwise you can always get a data plan from ATT on your ipad and just use that over VOIP, and use GV on both but have your iphone as a hard backup in case you need reception.
