I had upgraded 10.6 on top of 10.5 on a 2.26ghz MBP. I started experiencing a lot of beach balls and Safari Top Sites would often flash a distorted image of my screen before showing the thumbnails.

But the worst was a change I noticed to two-finger scrolling. I would scroll, never lifting two fingers, then all of a sudden OSX would act as if it were only tracking one finger. I did a lot of tests and could repeatably swipe with two fingers, wiggle one w/o lifting, and the cursor would start tracking that finger, even though it should still be in scroll mode.

My old white MB 10.4->10.6 doesn't have this behaviour, nor did my MBP on 10.5.

I also did a true clean install over a blank HDD. I got the same behaviour while scrolling through the EULA box!

it drove me nuts and I never found anyone with a similar gripe. Long story short, I downgraded to 10.5 and am much happier. Anyone experience this?
