I have an album of a band's demo CD. The name of the band is Hesus Rodriguez.
I was in my OCD state this Easter Break so I updated my music library - Album Art, Artist Name, Genre etc...
After 3 days of updating, I finally tried syncing my iPod Classic which went on flawlessly.
Synced my iPad for some of the songs that I wanted - again, flawless.
Synced my iPhone 4 with some songs including the demo album Hesus Rodriguez.
The artist name is displayed as "hesus rodriguez"
Checked PC, iPod and iPad its displayed as "Hesus Rodriguez"
Tried blanking out the artist name then retyping it again. No luck.
Tried renaming it to Hesus - IT WORKED!!!
Tried renaming it back to "Hesus Rodriguez" iPhone issue happened again!
Checked the whole album's info thru iTunes, there's no album artist, just artist name.
