I'm having audio problems after updating to El Capitan. I have been searching since yesterday and haven't found any other threads with this problem.
Issue #1: Spotify began skipping every single song and not playing any. I thought this was a Spotify issue but I can't find anyone else with this problem and have tried multiple reinstalls/reboots.
Issue #2: MPlayerX won't play audio. Video is just fine. Audio is gone no matter what.
Issue #3: Safari will not play some audio on some sites. YouTube and Vimeo and I am sure others work just fine, but some sites with embedded audio are not working at all.
Funny: iTunes is playing audio fine. Quicktime and VLC are playing audio fine. Chrome is playing audio fine where Safari wouldn't. Even Spotify's online player won't play songs in Safari but will in Chrome. I had no problems with audio before update, just after. Could it be hardware of software?
