Hello. I was using my 17" SR MBP (bought in the summer of 2007) with the power adaptor plugged into the wall. I took the computer to another room to show my sister some stuffs. Within about 3 minutes, the laptop was turned off automatically for no reason. I went back to my room and plugged the power cable to the computer. The batter level showed that the battery was 100% charged. Then, as a test, I disconnected the power cable. When the batter level dropped to 93% (in about 3 minutes), the computer was turned off automatically for no reason again. Anybody has this problem? From the internet, it seems that there was a silent recall of MBP batteries from Apple in 2006. Do you think my battery is defective? I bought the computer in less than 2 years only. How come it dies so quickly? Do you think there is something wrong with the computer as well?
