HI All Super Thanks in advance for your help!!

My Macbook Pro charger had been acting up and finally yesterday stopped charging my MBP completely so I borrowed a charger from someone in my office. This other charger was working fine last night but today when I was in the office it stopped working as well. I assumed I had a hardware issue on my MBP and did a little research, I did try to reset the SMC and still nothing.
Here is the strange part: After I returned the borrowed charger to my office mate it was not charging her machine either.
Can a corrupt battery in my MBP destroy a charger??
Thanks All!!

It's possible that debris or a short in the MagSafe socket on your MBP is causing heat and damage to the MagSafe plug on the charger.

Do you think I should buy a new battery and try that or replace the magsafe socket? How difficult is that to do?
