I'm suddenly experiencing this extremely weird black border around items in the GUI that are in focus.

It's in the finder, in all applications, it's everywhere!!! ..and it's driving me absolutely nuts!!!

Some examples:
- in the finder, the selected icon has a black border around it.
- in Mail, the focussed area has the border (like the area that displays all mails in a mail box).
- In Safari, the Search bar has the weird border, or now as I'm typing this text in this text area...the text area has the black border.

Is this some feature for disabled people that is accidentally turned on?

Can I turn it off somewhere???

Please help...this horrible border is totally annoying me.

Many thanks in advance for any help.
