I’ve had a Henge Gravitas charging dock on my desk for several years, and it has performed flawlessly until recently. Now, it seems to be hit or miss with my iPhone SE. Sometimes it will begin charging upon insertion and other times not. I have tried all of the cleaning suggestions, both of my phone port and the dock’s lightning connector. Here is the interesting part: if I insert into the dock and charging does not begin, I can reinsert numerous time without success. However, if I put another lighning cord into the phone to begin charging and then put the phone in the dock, charging will commence as normal. It’s like something in the phone resets with the cord so that it subsequently works in the dock. Henge technical support doesn’t know what’s going on. Any ideas?
