First of all, for any help giving, I will be eternally grateful to you. This is puzzle I do not have the knowlege to solve.

Basicly I bought a sony a-series Walkman (NWZ-A829) after I heard it's drag and drop so it works fine with a mac, which I later found out to not be entirely true, you can drag and drop files easily from itunes, that was simple enough but getting the cover art (cover art is sony calls it) to work has been a mammoth headache. I started looking at the songs on there, which just so happen to include cover art and couldn't figure out the difference with my itunes artwork loaded songs but every song I added from my library displayed no artwork at all. I've experimented with tones of programs that add cover art to songs like coverscout, tunetagger, export artwork and about 5 others aswell as numerous ID3 editor programs mostly with absolutely no result untill I found the trial ID3 Editor which works under circomstances that boggle me. It seems it only works with album covers that I've actually downloaded to my hard drive and that I've then dragged and dropped into it, although when I open songs in ID3 Editor with added artwork from itunes all apears fine and the image is displayed correctly in the program but the files when added on the mp3 player don't display it.
I've deduced that image size and type does not effect the result.

Does anyone know why this is working only this program and in only this way?
I very much need is a program that will work in the same mysteriously correct way but I can add cover art to the mp3 files in a more managable- less time consuming way, not one by one - which would take more time than you can shake a stick at.

Many Thanks,
Miles.

p.s. Good lord I need to go to bed now.
