Hi all,
I'm having a very odd cursor issue on my rMBP. Whenever using an external display the text cursor visual position seems to be offset from where it's actually pointing. This isn't an issue with a normal pointer cursor, only over text, and doesn't happen on the laptop's built in display, even with the external one connected. I've tried to capture the issue in the attached screen cap, but the cursor isn't captured.

As this was captured I was holding down (to select some text). The cursor was rendered just below the 't' of the top "PORTAbits", so a full line above and about 3 characters to the right of where the mouse was selecting text.
As you can imagine this is not very useful! I've looked around for someone having the same issue but can't find anyone, unfortunately. Any ideas?
Cheers!
EDIT: Immediately after posting this, the text cursor no longer appears, replaced instead by the regular pointer, luckily in the correct position. By no means ideal, but much better than it was before. Still very strange...
EDIT 2: Spoke too soon, back to the original issue.
