Hey all,

Recently started having problems with my 2008 Unibody MBP where when resuming from sleep I get a thick yellow vertical line on the screen, always in the same place. It tends to last for about a minute then clears. Always happens when resuming from sleep, but not all the time. It didn't happen at all yesterday when I was testing it but then this mronign it did it straight away. Will stay during a reboot as well, but then clears about a minute or so.

Only changes recently have been updating to 10.6.8, plus I installed a data doubler with an OWC SSD for my system drive (cloned) and upgraded the ram to 8gb from 4gb again from OWC. Everything was working great for about 2 weeks, then I suddenly get this.

I've ran TechTool and memtest on the memory and videocard memory and checked the cables internally are all seated OK and looks good.

Any ideas?

Andy
