When I'm in an area such as the subway with no cellular or wifi signal and I open the watch app on the phone I get an error "Get connected. To connect to apple watch, make sure your iPhone has Wi-Fi and BT turned on" which it always does. I'm able to replicate this by turning off cellular data and not connecting the phone to a wifi network on the phone and launch the watch app on the phone and I get the message every time. I can confirm the watch is still communication with the phone and is connected via BT. Wifi is also on for both but I don't have my phone connected to a wifi network. Seems to to be benign but a bit annoying at times. In order to avoid this message, the phone must either be connected to cellular or Wi-Fi. Anyone else exp or can replicate this by turning off cellular data on the iphone, disconnecting from your wifi network and launching the watch app. Iphone 14 pro max and AW Ultra here.
