Strange Error Message? Help Please!

Hi there,

I have been getting this strange error message on my iMac. It has happened a few times in the past couple of weeks. Out of nowhere the screen will get kind of dark, then flash to its original color, and then this error message appears. I have been a mac user for years and years and have never seen an error message such as this, so I am slightly worried. Anyone have any idea what this is? Or know if I should be worried about this...?

I'm surprised that you've never seen at least one.

That usually happens when you've recently installed hardware or software that conflicts with something else, or you messed around with something you shouldn't have, or there is a physical hardware failure going on with either your computer or a peripheral.

That does not sound good. SO it does not seem to be an error message that could be swept under the rug..

You would recommend having the computer looked at?

You could post the crash log.
