Hi,

So I have the June 2009 refresh 13" Macbook Pro base model that I bought in October 2009, recently if the MBP is left for a minute or so sometimes the screen will flick off then back on again, really fast (I have the screen power saving disabled..).

Any ideas what it could be? Only thing I have done is replace the HDD in May, I also recently reinstalled OS X from fresh (was still happening beforehand).

Thanks.

GPU or logic board... if it's just flickering but screen works, probably the board.

Yeah, the screen is working great - though the only time it flickers is when I haven't used the laptop for a couple of seconds or even minutes.

Apparently this is a known problem with the 9400M chip + MacBook Pro?
