i obtained this one Power Mac G5 from a friend about 3 years ago and after taking it apart to clean out and expand the ram, and looking at the back i assumed i had the 2.0GHZ dual processor (single core) Model (Power Mac G5 7,2), after over time seeing the video by Krazy Ken on YT and other people here of thier units, im not Sure what mine is now. The System Profiler shows "Power Mac G5 11,2", wouldnt this indicare the Water cooled Dual Core DP Model? (theres 2 Heatsinks inside, no pumps this is Air cooled. there is def. a Dual Processor Model of Somekind)

if it matters much it has an Nvidia Geforce 6600LE 128Mb Vram Video Card

well thats what i mean the ID just looking it up shows its the Dual Core like you linked but what it shows outside for the label and the 2 heat sinks this is atleast an (verry obvious) air cooled Dual processor unit, what im struggling to figure out is right is its actually the DP Dual Core as linked, or if its mis-representing Model id and what is showing on the case is correct.

"Dual 2GHz PowerPC G5"
The PowerMac 11,2 identifier is for three models. The Dual Core 2.0Ghz, the Dual Core 2.3Ghz and the Quad 2.5Ghz.

You have the 2.0Ghz Dual Core, which is why you do not have a cooling system. Only the Quad with this identifier had an LCS.

You can swap in a 2.3Ghz DC though. The board for the 2.0 and the 2.3 is the same.
