I tend to not have this problem while running under windows 7, but when I run the computer under Mac OSX, I tend to have some graphics issues while gaming. These issues only arise when the computer gets really hot, and honestly looks like some sort of a corruption effect when you see it. The effect looks sort of like some sort of major pixel mixup, things start looking really strange. Does anyone else have this issue? What's going on, and how can I fix it?

I've always known that macs get ridiculously hot, and it starts hurting my hands while resting my hands near the touchpad and occasionally while typing as well. I'm a pretty avid gamer, so the CPU pretty much always runs high. Should I invest in a cooling pad/fan for it?

And what exact Mac and Mac OS X version do you have?
