Today I was futzing around with my wife's iPad (which is about 3 years old) and I noticed it appeared to turn on her "hot spot" on her IP6 S. Manually turning the hot spot off didn't "stick" and it kept coming back on. I have an appointment next Tuesday which happens to be one day before her 1 year warranty on the IP6 S expires.

While I'm not a geek, I can't believe the iPad is requesting the hot spot be turned on. Several times I manually slid the hot spot toggle on her IP off, only to have it pop back on. I'm guessing this may be a software problem with her IP6 S. Wondering if anyone else has seen this behavior.

Even if the iPad wifi was weak, it shouldn't be able to request the IP6S power up the hot spot automatically.
