Strange icon in status bar - irealquicksms???

Help!!! I keep getting a strange icon in my status bar when using irealquicksms. This icon doesn't go away until I either respring, or power off/on the phone. Any ideas what this is, or how to get rid of it permanently.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

it's an unread message from quicksms, just tap on it and either reply or cancel, it goes away after that......
