Not strange. It's just the 400MHZ DV. I had one. If the DVD drive works all the better. It actually played movies in Tiger pretty decently.

Thanks and it just repaire by itself the crt was making strange noise and not turning on but a strange image started to be on the screen and restart after restart the imac repair by itself and i got it for 15bucks not working

And did it's a rare model and then how it worth in working condition with the original keyboard mouse and power cable ?

I'm not sure it is a rare model except if it has a working DVD drive, which I recall are difficult to find and difficult to replace with newer optical drives that are much smaller. If you are asking if it is worth anything, I have no idea. I believe they were the beginning of the updated iMac G3 firewire design, which was slightly more streamlined than the iMac G3's without firewire and a tray loading cd player, plus better graphics/video card.

Yes the dvd player isbworking but why it's only the dvd player that have problem loading and ejecting discs ?

Yes, these were poorly made drives. Back in the day, there were work-around solutions using standard size "superdrives" or smaller cd/cdr/dvd/dvdr units wedged inside the iMac G3 case. Go back fifteen years on this site and you may find some solutions.
