Strange iphone syncing issue

Hi guys,

I currently have an issue where, whenever my iphone is plugged in it restores an old podcast that I don't want it to. I've checked the following:

1) The podcast is no longer in my itunes library (the entire feed is gone)
2) Podcasts are not on auto sync, I manually copy what I want.

Every time I copy a new song, podcast to the iphone, bang, this old podcast appears.

Any ideas?
