Strange issue when trying to charge my phone

Just recently my phone won't charge when I plug it in. It will however, charge if I restart my phone with it plugged in. I have a jailbroken 4s with 5.0.1. Anyone ever had this issue or know what the issue may be? Thanks in advance!
