I'm posting this issue regarding the same problem I have on my iPhone 4. This issue is similar to a past post linked here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1021256/.
I'm having exactly same problem with the post in the link. Does anyone know any fix for it? Or what has caused to the problem? The slider enlarges and we can't slide to power off or unlock the screen. Is it caused by any Cydia apps? My phone is running on iOS 4.2.1, jailbroken. Thanks. Replies are welcomed.:)

do u have music control installed and if so, did u update it like the other person in the other thread suggested?

Hmm...Music control is an app or? I not sure if it is in my phone. Thanks for reply.

Hi alex,

Have you found the fix for this problem? Would you share it please?

I didn't find any fixes yet. Have you jail-broken your phone? I think there's problem with the iPod app. You always use the "multitask bar" that contains an iPod menu to access songs?
