Hello everyone, its my first time posting here. I've found a lot of Mac threads from Google leading here and this place seems really solid, I might stick around. :)

But I digress, I've got some questions which are pretty weird. I've had my new MacBook Pro 15" for about one and a half month now. Recently I've started playing Warhammer Online under XP using Apple's Bootcamp. Mostly the game runs excellent but after a while I start getting an audio and framerate stutter for a few seconds every few minutes or so. Is this because of overheating? I've installed InputRemapper and set the fans to maximum capacity, though it doesn't seem to help that much. InputRemapper is very twitchy with the readings of my fans as well, it will display the readings for a split second and vanish again (I believe it doesn't recognize my fairly recent MacBook Pro?). Maxing the fans seems to help a little bit but eventually the problem will start occurring again. Another side effect is losing my wireless signal.

In fact, could it be possible that the entire problem could be traced back to the wireless drivers? When the wireless signal drops out and I mess with it, Windows tends to crash. I've seen other threads with similar issues but none of them provide a reasonable answer. I'm really clueless on what I should do, at the end of the day I just want to play my game properly without these annoying stutters.

So far, absolutely none of these problems have occurred inside OS X, on the other hand, I don't actually have anything as intensive to stress-test OS X like Warhammer Online under Windows.

Also, since I haven't had my MacBook Pro for long, I can't compare if the casing should actually be like this or if this is a recent issue. Imagine the rear end of the MacBook Pro, right under the screen. There is a large vertical ventilation opening, the bottom of this area seems to be slightly warped downwards by a few millimeters. Is this because of overheating or is it just me totally overreacting because of the recent issues under Windows? :) The only threads I can find about this issue are the display screens that are warping, which seems much more severe.

Anyway, I hope all of this makes sense and sorry for the long read. I'm just a little bit worried with my new machine and I want to supply you with all the information I can give for troubleshooting. :) Thanks in advance!
