iPod touch Strange music genres

For some reason my iPod touch has the "genres" all messed up.....it now has three "R&B" categories, and is completely missing my "Smooth Jazz" category. and the genre list is no longer in alphabetical order.....WHAT HAPPENED?

the music app is so messed up in ios 5. wait for ios 5.0.1 and if it doesn't work restore as new.
