Hi !

I just bought my MBPR 15'' ! (and loving it !).

The only thing I find strange is a "cracking" sort of plastic noise I hear when I grap the laptop by the bottom (near the 3 small air exits).

Did someone also got this strange "craking sound" ?

Thanks !

This is "Normal", it can be solved by opening the rMBP and applying electrical tape in a certain spot.
There is a small metal bar inside which makes contact with the bottom lid, this is for grounding purpose and can be removed or putting tape in that spot.

I tried to find the thread about this issue but can't find it now, this was only weeks ago.

Thanks for your help ! Based on what you mentioned I spent dome hours doing some research and found the thread. Know it is just a matter of buying a screw driver for the Mac.

Good you found it, normally I find these threads for people asking these questions but I could not find THE one.

Yeah, you probably only need a screwdriver and you are set.
