Strange OS X Lion backlight behaviour

Hi to everyone. I have keyboard backlight on and I set it to turn off after 5 secs. But when it turned off and press a button on the keyboard the backlight is still closed and I need to move touchpad to be on again. But the logic to happening is the reverse. So when I am scrolling the backlight isn't necessary to be on and when I want to wright something and press a key then the backlight must go on.
