Strange powermac g4(leopard) display error

Hello,

I was working on my powermac g4 this morning, and all of a sudden my computer went into a strange display mode. It appears to be using a small number of colors, but in system prefs it is still on "millions" of colors . Help is appreciated!

Check to see that your video cable is tight on both ends, or switch in a new cable and see if the same thing happens

Have you tried restarting the G4?

Thank you for the help! I went into universal access, and found out that the contrast had turned all the way up (wasn't me). Looks like normal now.

Were the screen's colors inverted?

Looks like you might have accidentally hit the key combo - "Control, Alt, Command, 8".
