Strange Problem with Jailbreaking

I was having trouble jailbreaking my 3GS 3.0.1 FW iPhone. I went through all the steps but at the end of it all, Cydia would not show up on my iPhone. I decided to do a complete restore and jailbreak again. This time, Cydia showed up and everything was working fine. However, as soon as I synced my iPhone with my backup Cydia disappeared again.

Anybody else have this problem? Any way to fix it?

Did u try restarting or maybe it's docked/hidden.
