This problem has the makers of Alfred and me completely flummoxed. The feature in Alfred I want to use the most is clipboard. This enables me to paste from Alfred's clipboard history list into the active application. the problem is that it only works once, then when I go to past another clipboard item, I just get the Mac error notification sound. To see what's on the clipboard I switch to finder/view clipboard and there is the clip item I want to paste. So I cmd-v into the document, but again I just get the Mac error notification sound. Do another cmd-v and the item is pasted. Or return to Alfred and select from the clipboard list and it works again

This is the sequence every time. And yet if I cmd-c then cmd-v, it works perfectly every time.

Any ideas what's going on here?
