strange problem

I use a dial up connection. I connect and then I can surf and use firefox like normal. But when I go to use safari or itunes store a message pops up saying "safari can't connect to the server" and "network connection was refused" in itunes. Any help would be great.

did you check your connection and see if you are still connected?

Yes I'm still connected and I can use Firefox

Is it possible that maybe the connection is just timing out because you are on dial up?
