Strange restriction on adding photos to Book in iPhoto

Last December I put together a book in iPhoto, just of family photos. Got two printed, and now need another. Have a good few more photos I'd put in now from the past 3 month, but it seems iPhoto won't let me.

Looks like any photo taken after I first made the book is unavailable to put into any extra pages I might add.

Has anyone come across this before, and does anyone know how to overcome it?
