Strange sound when fully charged

I have a S0 aluminium Apple Watch which I've had for 15 months. I charge it every night in nightstand mode by my bed. I've noticed recently that when it is fully charged, the watch makes a feint high pitch chirping sound. You can just about hear it across the room at night.

Any ideas? It only happens when it is connected to the charger and fully charged.

Strange. Have not heard of this and my Watches have never made any noise when charged. I would contact Apple on that one. Unless another forum member has input on the concern.

I've read about this high pitched sound when some ppl have used certain brands of charging docks.
Appart from that no other reports that I have come across. Perhaps a chat with Apple where they can do a remote diagnostics test to rule out software issues.

Are you using a third-party charging dock?

I am using an anker charging hub with the original cable. I'll try the apple plug tonight to see if that makes a difference.
