Hi,

I am a podcaster that has been enjoying using Garageband for quite some time now. I recently purchased two Logitech USB Mics for recording our podcast in stereo.

Sadly there are some extreme issues in which one Mic is processed slower than than it's counterpart, while the other has annoying static, pops and echos. I have aborted from using two of these now, and have switched back to using the internal Macbook Mic in conjunction with one Logitech.

But, not all is well. The Logitech will randomly start to pop, click, and echo, which for some reason, goes away when I disconnect my mag-safe power connector and re-connect it (WTF?!?) .

I know that there can be a delay in processing USB signal (and I am fine with that), however the low quality and high interference of this thing is beyond annoying.

Settings
- Internal and USB mic are configured as an aggregate device in the Audio MIDI control panel
- No effects are active on either audio feed within grageband
- Garageband is configured to output to the system defined audio output.

That's it, any suggestions? Should I take the plunge and buy an external Audi processor to amplify normal analogue mics :( ? If so, what are good inexpensive options for recording mostly in a home studio setting, and sometimes on the road (with no external power available).

Thanks for any help you can offer.
