Hi Everyone,
I recently bought OS X 10.3 off ebay and loaded it onto my Lombard Powerbook. It was all good for 4 days but now when I goto boot up I hear the DONG and the the spinny thing comes up but then I get a
(/)
icon on the screen. Did my hard drive STB?

Thanks, Timmay

No Love :-(

No love from the Apple link to reset the NVRAM and PRAM... luckly I didn't have any files on the HHD so i'm going to blow it away and try to install Ubuntu (OS X disk are at home). Hopefully this will work any my Powerbook will live to see another day!

Wish me luck!

Ubuntu Brought it back to life!

So Loading OS X onto the laptop was giving me hell, video problems and fun stuff like that... but when I went to install Ubuntu I didn't have a single problem.

So now I have a Perfectly good Lombard powerbook running Ubuntu, but i wish it was OS X :-(
