Strange things in iOS 4

Just wanted to make sure my phone is like everyone elses. I have noticed two things in iOS4 that are different than version 3.1.X

1) When the phone is in Vibrate mode, pressing the volume up or down button does nothing and will not display the on screen volume control

2) When turning the phone from vibrate to sound (I guess thats what its called LOL) there is no chime anymore

Could you guys see if this is the same for you?

1) Same.
2) Mine vibrates when you move the switch to sound.

just in reference to number 2, mine never did that anyway.
 
For reference, I'm on 4.0.1 on iPhone 4
1. Mine does display the volume control. For ringer as well as other apps with sound (games, etc)

2. I don't think mine ever did this either.
 
with vibrate/silent on, the volume rocker displays on screen for ringer/alarm volume

there never was a chime when going from silent to non-silent mode, only a quick vibe going from non-silent to silent mode
 
mine never made a sound when switching audio on -- just an on screen notification / icon.

but, my iphone 4 is the most buggy of all my other iphones (3gs + original)
 
My ringer is now showing when in vibrate mode after I restarted my phone. Must have been a bug...really seeing that there is a lot of them in iOS 4
