i'm processing lots of timelapse still image frames with a script.
the frames are numbered sequentially and processed sequentially.
as the modified frames (each frame is a file) appear in my
directory the 'date modified' column displays odd values. while i
know the frames are being created sequentially and in chronological
order, i'm looking at this kind of thing:
Library_Roll-002_Full_3072_06019.CR2 Today, 2:14 PM
Library_Roll-002_Full_3072_06020.CR2 Jun 2, 2007, 8:29 PM
Library_Roll-002_Full_3072_06021.CR2 Today, 2:15 PM
frame 06020 was definitely created between 06019 and 21 but
somehow the time is completely different. i'd expect 2:14 or 2:15.
usually the time is not this far off between frames, it's just a few
minutes. even so, what accounts for this and is there a way to
fix it. this is the kind of minor thing that drives me crazy.
system preference for 'set date & time automatically' is unchecked.
thanks,
