Out of nowhere, strange programs called:
Adsheet
Fieldtest
iOS diagnostics
Setup

Have recently appeared on my springboard. The icons are totally white. Anyone have any idea what these are and if its ok to delete them? Or, is there a benefit to keeping them?

Thanks

Well thanks Jay after a few years of using these forums, I never thought of that. Joking aside, I would have but I only have access to "Tapatalk" right now and it doesn't give me the ability to search. I thought someone may be able to give me a quick and easy answer.

Thanks Robots. Seems that answer was shorter than suggesting a search.

No, it wasn't. The question has been asked and answered a million times. Learn how to use Google and you will have your answer quicker.

Or just respring - it's almost always the answer to jailbreak problems.

Sometimes when you install an app from cydia it will install other apps.

I sometimes had those programs appear when I was running SemiTether with a tethered iOS 5.0 jailbreak on my iPhone 4 (GSM).

do you use sbs? i noticed those icons appearing after i hid some of the icons like activator, and some ugly ones with sbsettings. the problem was solved after i unchecked everything i chose in sbs, and hid icons with springtomize. i read somewhere libhide in sbs is outdated, that might cause this.

I do use sbs. I rebooted a couple of times and the apps disappeared. If the reappear, I guess I'll just hide them. I am just curious if they can be deleted, or what they are for.
Thanks for all the replies.
