Hi Everyone,
I finally got on the Growl bandwagon and ever since I installed it I have seen random USB errors flash across the screen. In addition to this my machine sometimes hangs when I plug/unplug my USB soundsticks. It does not crash, but it may hang for up to 2 minutes before becoming responsive. That may or may not be related to this business.

Here is a sample from /var/log/system.log:

tarmac:/var/log fr0$ cat system.log.*| gunzip | grep AppleUSBHubPort
Apr 17 14:50:44 tarmac kernel[0]: USBF: 517657.357 AppleUSBHubPort: Port 1 of Hub at 0x7d000000 reported error 0xe00002ed while doing set feature (resetting port)
Apr 17 14:50:45 tarmac kernel[0]: USBF: 517658.536 AppleUSBHubPort: Port 1 of Hub at 0x7d000000 reported error 0xe00002ed while doing set feature (resetting port)
Apr 17 08:43:18 tarmac kernel[0]: USBF: 497194.244 AppleUSBHubPort: Port 1 of Hub at 0x7d000000 reported error 0xe00002ed while doing set feature (resetting port)
Apr 17 08:43:19 tarmac kernel[0]: USBF: 497195.110 AppleUSBHubPort: Port 1 of Hub at 0x7d000000 reported error 0xe00002ed while doing set feature (resetting port)

Anyone know what this means? I did a google search and the only thing similar was on our favorite French Mac site. The google translation was poor, but it seems to be related to bluetooth. I don't use my bluetooth, but it has come up as "Not Available" on occaison (the x'ed out icon in the menu bar).

Any insight? Anyone having the same issue? This is a rev. 1 blackbook (my third to be exact...).

Cheers,
fr0

I don't have the solution, but I've got the same problem.

It appears during the day as well directly after switching on the machine. It's a MacBook rev. 1.

But in general it doesn't seem to affect my system much. No freezing or something like that. The only thing I get from time to time is a uncontrolled wake from sleep.

Code:

Stops maybe the sleeping of the Mac
