strange volume problem

I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

Randomly the volume display with disappear. The volume will change when the rocker is pressed but no on screen volume display A reboot fixes it, but still annoying

Yeah, I've seen this in various versions of iOS 8 (or at least the latest 8.3) once in a while. Not quite sure what might be behind it though.
