I've discovered the following entries in my root directory that cannot be deleted either through Finder or the CLI. I have tried rm -fr <fileName> to no avail.

The machine is a 2010 MacBook Pro running High Sierra Ver 10.13.6

If someone could tell me what these files are and how they came to be and importantly how to delete them it would be greatly appreciated.
