Hi there,

I've got a strange issue here with the wifi (Bootcamp and OS X):

The wifi keeps dropping all the time since yesterday and so I run serveral speed tests. I've got around 0.5-1 MBit when not touching the MacBook.

But here it comes: as soon as I touch the MacBook, the wifi jumps to 8-10 MBits. As soon as I release my hands off the back of the screen, it drops in-between not transfering anything at all and 1 MBit.

Also the transfer rate jumps on how I tilt the screen.

Very weird if you ask me...
In one week I'll have another router to test if this is an incompatibility between router and MacBook or a MacBook only problem.

My iPhone for example has always a good connection.

Guys,

I've got it solved fast. I found an 8 year old Linksys router and hooked it up on the existing Thomson router. Connecting via wifi to the linksys and there are no issues anymore whatsoever.

Don't know why this is, maybe because the Thomson has one antenna and is just a piece of crap.
