I just stepped out of my office for a second. When I got back I had on my screen a you need to restart window.

Has anyone got this before?

What could have caused the problem?
Thanks for the help.

was it in other langauages as well?

this is what is a kernel panick, sometimes random

but it could also be caused by most commonly bad stick of ram

yeah it was in 3 other languages. is there any software to check the ram?

Unless they you get a couple of them within a few days, i wouldn't worry about it.

Have you added or attatched any new hardware lately?

nope, nothing. But, I had a bit of problem with my superdrive. Their was some black thing in it and it came out. But the problem I had with it was just that cds weren't getting in easy, but now it's like whn I got it. i don't think this should be a problem.

Unless you have more of them happen soon, i don't think its a problem. I have had two or three kernel panics, and they have never been a continuing problem.

Just sharing some encounter I had which requires me to restart my Mac.

I once had a G5 os 10.3 which I connect to a system 7 Mac via appletalk network to transfer some files. When the system 7 Mac crashes a couple of times, it brings down my os 10.3 as well. so could it be network connection problems?

Thanks doode.

One last thing, nice avatar!!!! :D
