My household have two Macbooks, one 13" and one 17" (both Unibody).
Suddenly neither can find the wireless network. Our Imac, however, can.
What has happened. I tried resetting the Routermodem, but to no avail.

Can someone please help us? We are desperate

  1. Which router are you using?
  2. Did you change anything on the laptops before this started happening?
  3. Did you change anything on the router?
  4. Can you connect using a wired connection?
  5. Is the iMac connected wirelessly too?

My be related to the wi-fi issues in the unibody Macbooks people are experiencing (including myself).

Seems to be a similar type of problem, yes.
I really can´t explain it though. At the moment, both our Macbooks has suddenly connected to the wireless again :)
Connection is slow though. So strange

Cheers,

What's odd, and proves its a software problem, is my Macbook Pro 13 works great on my wireless network when I bootcamp in to Windows Vista.

And, my old black Macbook 13 I replaced worked great, too, on my existing hardware set-up.

So, all signs point to OSX as it relates to the newer Macbooks. Hopefully, 10.6 will remedy it.
