Hi all

I have a very strange problem here. I have an iMac 27" and I keep it running 24/7. I came across a message on my iMac just before I went to bed last night for the second time; I noticed it previously about 10 days ago. I have attached a screenshot for illustration.

My compute tries to run something called:

classical_5.56_i686-apple-darwin.exe

I do not know what this is or where it came from.

As you can see in the second screenshot, it has tried to open it many times. So many that the dock has become tiny.

Please help. I hope that this is not a virus in my computer.

Thanks.

Well you really should know the answer yourself. Macs do not run .exe files and you have something repeatedly trying to run one. You most likely have some kind of Trojan/worm trying to infect your computer time to break out the installer and wipe it.

Okay thanks for that.
