Strange yellow box on desktop

Hello

I noticed the other day that a small yellow box as appeared behind the apple symbol in the top left of the screen on desktop.

When i click on it it just opens the 'about this mac' options.

I have ran a virus scan and it says its all clear

does anyone know what it is and how I get off my screen. I have attached an image of to help.

It's probably a problem with your background, try changing it
