Hello all,

lately I recognized a yellow light inside my MacBook Pro. Does somebody know, what it is? I have no problems with my notebook, just wanted to know what it indicated. :)

It looks like this: http://twitpic.com/4k1eo (Not my photo)

Greetings

Does is appear when the keyboard backlight is on? That's the only explanation I can think of. If the backlight is off and the yellow light is still there, I have no idea what it is!

No, it also appears when backlight is off.

The colour looks like the camera light at the top of the screen (in the centre)
The light is located somewhere between the two fans. (See image)

I uploaded 2 photos of that light visible between the 'grills' at the back.

Just looked at the grill on mine and didn't see any yellow light, just the keyboard one. I don't recall any LEDs when opening it up either.
